The Ummed

The ummed is a Marwar palace situated in jodhpur. The whole campus of this palace has greenery in it. Lovely gardens and luxurious rooms make the both inside and outside of this palace worth remembering. It has 80 rooms and can have events with a guest capacity of almost 4000.

 

The best part of this palace is its pathway, a perfect passage for a baraat, sorry for a royal baraat! When it comes to travel convenience, you will be a happy face here as well. It is just 12 km from Jodhpur airport, thus adding the cherry to the cake.

 

Umaid Bhawan Palace

The name may sound similar but this palace is different from The Ummed Palace. Known for its rich architecture, i.e. of yellow sandstone, this palace also has luxurious amenities. In addition to this, the hosts will also get to see the dances of peacocks on the lawns, a view of the blue city, and the great Mehrangarh fort.

 

All these features make this wedding destination, a celebrity favorite. It is the world’s sixth-largest private residence and has recently hosted the wedding of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Its guest capacity is up to 800 and has the availability of 64 rooms. It is nearly 5 km from the airport.

 

 

Indana Hotels

It doesn’t have a palace in its name but these hotels give you the perfect vibes of Maharajas. The outer look of these hotels is breathtaking. Wide-open courtyards, work of jaali, domes, doorway crafted with hands, and entry porches made up of stone will surrey give you the feelings of the world of Maharajas.

 

The visuals of these palaces are something else. The palace situated in Jaipur is more like a Raj Mahal while the Jodhpur palace is a modern-day hotel with a mix-up of royal architecture. There is two Indana hotel, situated in Jaipur and Jodhpur. The Jaipur one has around 118 rooms with a capacity of up to 2000 guests. While the jodhpur one has around 88 rooms with a guest capacity of up to 2500.

 

Rambagh Palace

We can say that the Rambagh Palace is the one that has brought a transition. A game-changing moment. It is the first royal palace that was converted into a heritage hotel. Taj Group manages this palace and comprises 78 rooms with a guest capacity of around 450.

 

It offers royal hospitality with its Mughal gardens, marble jalis crafted with hands, and sandstone balustrades. For the couple who is having a limited guest list and looking for a modern-day royal wedding, this destination is perfect for them.

 

Taj Lake Palace

The name is enough to describe the specialty of this destination. Lake! Imagine, how special the moment is going to be, getting married in between the waters. The unlimited romantic sunsets and sunrises make this palace one of the best romantic destinations in India.

 

The palace is on the tranquil waters of Lake Pichola situated in Udaipur. There are 83 rooms and you can accommodate around 800 guests here.

 

Alila Fort

Alila fort is one of the oldest forts in India. Present in the Aravali mountain ranges, it had recently hosted the wedding of celebrity Divya Agrawal. Alila fort has its organic farms so you can have cuisines made with ancient techniques such as the use of a heated sandpit. 

 

There are 59 rooms and the hosts can invite up to 200 guests to this venue. This fort is in Bishangarh and the connectivity is from Jaipur. One has to drive around 55 km from the Jaipur airport to reach this destination.
